Can anybody tell me how to get to "Days Inn South Fort Worth" from Fort Worth International Airport

Can anybody tell me how to get to "Days Inn South Fort Worth" from Fort Worth International Airport?
Hello, I'm traveling from Mexico to Fort Worth in a couple of days and I will stay at the Days Inn South Fort Worth, my hotel is on 4213 I-35 W South Freeway I-35 W/Seminary Dr Exit 46B, the thing is I will not rent a car so can anyone tell me please how to get there using only public transportation? I will really appreciate if you can help me. I also have another question, my flight back home leaves really early so I'm guessing public transportation is not an option, so does anyone know about how much will the cab fee be if I travel from my hotel to the airport?

Your best bet is to take a cab to the motel. You COULD take a bus to a train station, get on the train to downtown Ft Worth and then take a bus to Seminary and I-35W. try www.the-t.com for more info. Once you are at your motel, and you want to get around town from there, the bus should get you where you want to go. I'm not sure what a cab costs from the airport, but I'm sure its pretty high because it is about 30 miles away. Hope this helps.

There is no bus or train that will take you from the airport to that location. You could take the Super Shuttle, which is cheaper than a taxi. People share the ride along a route to the same geographic area. It's a blue van with the name Super Shuttle in big yellow letters. To find out more go to www.supershuttle.com

Can you take a pet in the cabin of an American Airline Plane

Can you take a pet in the cabin of an American Airline Plane?
I am buying a puppy and flying home on American Airline Flight 49 from Dallas Fort Worth Intl to San Francisco Intl. March 18th 4:10 pm. Can I take him home in a Sherpa Bag under my seat? What Papers do I need and who do I talk to at the airline? Do you have a phone number or email of someone at American Airlines, who can help me?

no, I don't believe you can. They usually put animals in the belly of the plain.

Actually, most airlines allow you to take a small dog in the cabin if they fit inside one of those small pet carrier bags. They typically only allow 2 on any particular flight, so you do have to make sure you notify them ahead of time to ensure there aren't already more than 2 flying. Also, every airline does require specific shots and a vet visit before the flight. Contact American Airlines for their specific requirements. 1-800-433-7300

Dallas Fort Worth Airport 3 hour wait

Dallas Fort Worth Airport 3 hour wait.....?
Hi everybody... I have a connecting flight on my way back to Miami from Arkansas at Dallas Fort Worth Airport (Texas). The wait time is about 3 hours between flights. Do you think that's enough time to leave the airport to visit the surrounding area and be back in time for my flight back to Miami? I'm flying with American Airlines. Do the security check-ins take long at DFW? What is around the area? Shops, restaurants, any recommendations? This is my 1st time in Dallas and I wanted to take advantage of it, (even if it's for an hour or 2)! Thanx! :o) Oh...and what would be he best way to get around that area in such a short amount of time? Bus, Train, Cab?

Dear Amy....As ur next flight requires atleast 1 or 1.30 minutes check in time so leaving the DFW airport to see the city would literally mean Touch n Go for you, in this case. That will leave u exhausted, poorer & will not fulfill your desire to see the place nicely. I suggest you dont leave the airport, catch hold a good book & read it there only. Otherwise see the shopping center & other areas within the Airport.

You definitely have time to leave the airport, but you will be pretty limited on what you can see, since everything is spread out pretty well. It will take you a Half Hour to get to either Dallas or Fort Worth assuming traffic is moving. If you do venture out, a cab is your best bet. The bus will take too long and not give you many options. The train is on a limited schedule and there is only one line accessible from the airport. Grapevine Mills Mall is very close to the Airport if you want to do some shopping, or a bit north of the Airport in Grapevine, there are a ton of nice restaurants to choose from, from high end to fast food. And from my experience, The security lines are usually fairly fast, but you never know from day to day.

You won't have much more than an hour so you'll need to stay close by. I wouldn't recommend that you go to Grapevine Mills. It's a huge mall and you'd have to just quickly rush through it. I'd suggest you take a cab to the Mandalay Canal in Las Colinas. There are restaurants and quaint shops along the canal and you could also see the world's largest equestrian sculpture of bronze mustangs splashing in the water. This is very close to the airport. Enjoy your visit.
4 :
DONT LEAVE THE AIRPORT, by the time you spend getting out and somewhere, you have to turn around and come back. I would suggest haveing Lunch/Dinner during that time inside the airport so you don't have to get rescreened. Check out the listings at the link below for places to go.

Only if you want to miss your plane. Add to that, the surrounding areas are the burbs, you have seen it all before. Take the Skylink (in the airport, behind security) to Terminal D and find a decent restaurant and enjoy a leisurely meal. Much better off than running to Grapevine and hoping to get back in time.

yes, the Fortworth airport is amazingly punctual. both times i've used it i get there almost half an hour early. I'm not saying to expect an "early" arrival, but certainly one thats on time.
2 :
it's not the airport, it's the airlines that have on time problems.
